The mobile phone of the Porsche family
The Porsche brand bursts into the world of mobile telephony with an exclusive mobile phone which, rather than being intended for lovers of the Stuttgart Mare, is designed for those who appreciate Porsche Design style.
TG Daily describes the P’9521 – this at least the singular acronym that identifies the device – as an extremely hi-tech mobile phone. This is demonstrated by the aluminum body and the 2.2-inch display (protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal), which has a resolution of 320 × 240 and is rotating.
The new Porsche (created in collaboration with Sagem) can boast a touch-sensitive fingerprint reader for secure access to the various functions present. Do not miss the 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, an MP3 player and Bluetooth connectivity.
The speed that the Porsche name suggests will be entrusted to EDGE technology for “data” connectivity.
With dimensions of 91x48x18.4 millimeters, a weight of 140 grams and a declared autonomy of 240 hours in standby and 3.5 hours of talk time, it will debut next autumn on the British market and in Dubai, at a truly sheikh price, around 1,200. EUR. It will later be sold in Porsche Design Stores in other countries and, at least according to the company itself, the commercialization will exclude the markets of the USA, Japan and Korea.
