Samsung G800, the camera that calls

Milan – Anticipated during the summer, the new Zoom & Call G800 arrives from Samsung, which the company presents as “the first mobile phone in the world equipped with a 5 Megapixel camera combined with a 3x optical zoom”.

Optical zoom is indeed a very common feature among digital cameras, but much less so on a mobile phone.

At a medium-quality resolution for a camera, Samsung offers a 3x optical zoom and a Xenon flash on a mobile phone, as well as panoramic, multi-shot and macro shooting modes. Not only that, the G800 also has photo / video editing applications and winks at web 2.0 with the mobile blogging feature, which promises easy uploads to User Created Contents sites.

These are the features of the Zoom & Call G800:
– support for HSDPA networks;
– 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display with 16 Million colors;
– PictBridge / USB 2.0 / Bluetooth v 2.0 connectivity;
– multimedia and multi-format player;
– Internet browser;
– microSD card slot.

Samsung’s Zoom & Call G800 will be available in Italy from November exclusively with TRE.
