HP and Vodafone: pocket navigator and office
Milan ? Even Vodafone customers will now have no more excuses to get lost (while traveling or chatting), or arriving late. The operator, in partnership with HP, has announced the arrival of a version of the iPAQ hw6515 PDA-phone with integrated satellite navigator.
The HP iPAQ hw6515 integrates wireless connectivity for data and voice transmission, a GPS satellite navigation system and the 1.3 megapixel digital camera. In addition, Vodafone promises constantly updated maps, with points of interest and European maps available in real time on its GPRS and UMTS networks, in addition to information on traffic conditions and road interruptions.
The cost of the service is 10 euros per month including traffic, while the HP iPAQ hw6515 with Vodafone Pocket Office is on sale at a price of 749 euros (VAT included) at HP authorized resellers and the operator’s sales network.
