Double Drivers is a simple yet powerful portable tool (no installation required) that will help you backup and restore drivers in Windows.
Drivers are programs that control devices on your computer; this is how Windows can talk to and understand every device on your system, whether it’s a printer, sound, video, keyboard, etc. each device must have a driver.
Although Windows 7 and Windows Vista recognize thousands of devices that you can install on your system using Plug & Play, it’s a good idea to create a backup of your already installed drivers. This is useful, for example, when you don’t have the driver CD for a specific device or the driver is no longer available when you search online. It can be quite tricky, for example, if you just installed Windows and find that Windows failed to install the network adapter driver and now you can’t go online to find it.
Double Driver is a free tool that not only allows you to view detailed information about all drivers installed in Windows, such as version, date, vendors, etc., but also allows you to backup, restore, save and print easily all selected controllers.
