Guess what? Cyberpunk 2077 still has serious crashes issues on PS5 and PS4 after patch 1.10

Released just in time for the weekend, Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.10 does a lot to fix the game’s constant crashing issue on PS5 (via backward compatibility) and PS4. Well, according to the official patch notes, at least. The notes state that “various stability improvements” have been implemented, and on Sony’s next-generation system in particular, the update includes “various bug fixes.”

Except Cyberpunk 2077 again crashes with alarming frequency on PlayStation consoles. In our experience, crashes don’t happen as fast with version 1.10 installed, but they are still there. Various reports on the web say the same thing, but for some players, it seems that the crashes have gotten worse in some way since they downloaded the last patch. In short, the game is still an absolute disaster.

PS5 Availability in 2021: Why are we waiting so long for the fourth sales wave?

It is completely unacceptable. We can handle the crash from time to time, but Cyberpunk 2077 has crashed into us more times than we can count. This is the main reason we gave the game a shocking score of 3/10 in our review. At this rate, it will be some time before the title is allowed to return to the PlayStation Store.
