Game was originally scheduled for this year and will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC
New action and shooting game from Arkane Studios, producer of the series Dishonored, Deathloop had its launch listed for May 21 on PlayStation 5 on PlayStation Store from New Zealand. In addition to the new Sony, which has temporary title exclusivity on consoles, the game is also expected to reach the PC.
The date, it is worth mentioning, was not officially announced by the studio or publisher – which means that it can also be just a temporary “appointment”.
Originally scheduled for this year, Deathloop was postponed to 2021 in August this year. At the time, Arkane attributed the postponement to adjustments made by the team in the development process due to the new reality of production via remote work.
In addition to the supposed release date, the game had the pre-sale bonuses listed on the page, in addition to its digital Deluxe edition.
In Deathloop, two rival assassins are trapped in a time loop, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. Players will follow Colt, an assassin who has a unique chance to escape the loop after eliminating eight targets before the day restarts.
