ANORC, association of archiving staff
Milan – The DIG-Eat to be held on 8 November in the Lombard capital, a national event in the field of document dematerialization organized by the SCiNT and Krill Study & Research Center, will be the theater for the birth of ANORC: National Association for Operators and Heads of Substitutive Conservation.
ANORC, the organizers explain, “will represent on a national scale all those involved in the market for archiving, management and digital conservation of documents”. The association will also have the task of “developing an in-depth comparison plan between responsible institutions, recognized professionals in the sector and operators and managers of replacement conservation”.
“The ANORC – reads a note – was therefore born with the ambition of being able to act as a driving force for all the processes of management and digital conservation of documents that are developing in Italy”. And, consequently, it wants to become “a point of reference for all those who deal with the hottest issues of document dematerialization”.
All information on how to register for DIG-Eat Milan is available at this address. Those who want to join ANORC will be able to do so during the event.
