A cell with a thousand hours of autonomy
Rome – If some particularly talkative users feel tight in the autonomy of their mobile phone, it is possible that after this news they run to book the A1000 model made by the Chinese Cect, which promises 1,000 hours of battery activity.
The company has in fact presented an “unlimited” mobile phone, equipped with a 2 thousand MAh lithium battery, of which it boasts 41 days of standby time and over 10 hours of talk time. Data that make this device a valid communication tool especially where power supplies for recharging are not easily available (see developing countries).
If the autonomy is science fiction, the remaining telephone characteristics are not particularly exciting, but not negligible: it is in fact a Dualband GSM / GPRS terminal that measures 105x50x18 mm and weighs 100 grams. The TFT touchscreen display has 262 thousand colors and has a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels. Do not miss a 4 megapixel camera, Java and WAP 2.0 support, a multimedia player. Connectivity is USB only.
Possibility that it will also be marketed on the European market? Currently none. The chatty users of the old continent will have to make do with less… durable mobile phones.
